Sejal has been trained to start Montessori school at Ratan Tata Institute (RTI) in Mumbai, associated with Association Montessori Internationale, headquartered in the Netherlands.

Sejal is B. COM from Sydenham College and diploma in Interior Designing from Rachna Sansad School of Architecture (Mumbai) and American River College (California, USA).

She will be working closely with the Founder, Sejal Shah on all the academic and administrative aspects at Ubuntu. She will be responsible for interacting with parents and day-to-day operations of the school.

It was while working on one such assignment that she came across the Montessori way of education. The philosophy left a deep impression on her mind. Her passion to work with children and belief in the system made her quit the corporate life and pursue the course at Ratan Tata Institute. She then went on to work in a Montessori environment for a year working with children in the age group of 2.5 to 6 years.

She draws inspiration from one of the famous quotes by Margaret Mead – “Children must be taught how to think, not what to think” and looks forward to learning and growing with the children.
